Rules and Conditions

Rate of play: Each player will have 30 minutes for all their moves.

BCF Rapidplay rules apply.

Grades: The 2008/9 ECF grades will be used. Players must quote their latest rapidplay or longplay grade or indicate previous grade, or results and the year. Rapidplay grades have precedence, except a long play A-C grade will take precedence over a rapidplay E grade.

All games are guaranteed to be submitted for grading by the ECF.

Entries on the day are subject to availability of places.

Juniors must be aged 18 or under on 1st April 2009.

A player may request a half point bye at the time of entry, if they are unable to play in round one.

It is a condition of entry that the organisers decision is final. The organisers may refuse entry or transfer a player to a different section at any time.
